Melissa “Rosanne” Dixson Nicholson was born January 22, 1943 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Marvin & Ola Dixson. She died May 1, 2017. Rosanne graduated Seminole High School. Rosanne married, Jim, the love of her life April 16, 1965. She was completely dedicated to Jim and their three children. She was a stay-at-home mom who loved helping with her children’s activities, actively supported PTA and volunteered as homeroom mom. Rosanne loved traveling with Jim and their friends. There are many stories of shenanigans with “the group.”Rosanne was preceded in death by her husband, Jim; parents, Marvin & Ola Dixson. Rosanne is survived by her son Keith and wife Shenae of Edmond and grandsons, Tyler and Braden Nicholson; son Bart and wife Nancy of Yukon; daughter Kara Seidel and husband James of Mustang; and brother Gene Dixson and wife Lelia of Arizona.
Rosanne will be greatly missed by family and friends. Services to celebrate her life are 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 6th at Smith and Turner Funeral Home in Yukon. Friends may sign our online guest book at
