Obituary for Helen LaRue

Helen LaRue
Helen Irene LaRue entered Heavens gates on May 10, 2018. She was born in Delta, TX to Reason and Thelma Tucker. Helen was a strong believer in Jesus and was an ordained minister. She grew up in the Assembly of God Holiness Church. Helen married the love of her life Buddy and together they had seven children. She lived her life for God and her ministries. Helen ministered to all the needy and had a jail ministry for years where she preached to the inmates. Her work in ministry brought many people of the years to the Lord. For the past 13 years she has lived in the nursing home. Helen was very active in ministering to the residents, she loved putting puzzles together and visiting with family that would come to see her - especially her grandchildren. Helen loved having birthday parties and looked forward to her gifts. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Buddy, daughter Betty Stinson and all five siblings. Helen’s family who awaits to see her again are her children Georgina and husband Bob Sullivan, Jimmy LaRue, Buddy LaRue Jr. Judy and husband Edward Hau, David and wife Glynes LaRue, Sheila and husband Marshal Allen. She also has 24 grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be Saturday May 12, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Town and Country Church in Yukon, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith & Turner Mortuary.
