Obituary for Jocelyn Mae Dailey

Our precious little angel, Jocelyn Mae Dailey, beloved infant girl of Jarrod and Serena Dailey of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019 in her parents’ arms at their home. Jocelyn was a beautiful and feisty little girl who brought joy and happiness to everyone that she touched throughout her 5 months and 24 days of life.

Jocelyn was the answer to her parents’ prayers for a second child and sibling to their daughter Aleah. The anticipation of Jocelyn brought joy, expectations and a host of other emotions. During her brief time on earth, Jocelyn enjoyed listening to music, the presence of soft stuffed animals and toys, and being held close by her parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and dear friends. All who met Jocelyn loved her. We miss her.

Jocelyn is survived by her parents Jarrod and Serena Dailey; her big sister Aleah Dailey; paternal grandparents, Roosevelt Jr. and Ramona Flye; maternal grandparents, Charles and Florence Holman and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other family and friends.

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of OU Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK for the incredible care provided to Jocelyn and the entire family. A very special thanks to Dr. Leplei, Pediatrician, Dr. Burkhart, Heart Surgeon, and each member of their staff. We, the family, truly appreciate all of the prayers and concerns extended to us during this time.
