Obituary

Anthony Lee “Curly” Horn, age 75, of Yukon passed away Saturday, December 1, 2018 in Yukon. He was born on April 2, 1943 in Oklahoma City to Lee Stanley & Elbie Horn. Curly was the oldest of three children brother Stanley James and Sister Vicki Jo. He was a lifelong resident of the Yukon area. He had a strong upbringing on the family farms and eventually became the fourth generation to raise wheat on their family farms from Yukon to Calumet. Curly and Rebecca had two children Joe Horn and Toni Horn Cox.

He had a passion for reading and enjoyed biography books, Curly was a history buff and liked to learn about the founding fathers of our country. The “Daily Oklahoman” was a daily must, but you would never see him reading the sports page. Curly was a very sensitive man that was kind and gentle. He would do anything for you. Curly’s two children grew up and made Yukon their home blessing him with three grandchildren Zachary, Chad, and Kendall Cox; and two great-grandchildren Eloise and Lincoln Cox. Curly enjoyed working with his hands and building things was a natural hobby for him.

Anthony was proceeded in death by his father and beloved mother, her just 17 days before him, and just short of her 100th birthday. Curly is survived by his son Joe Horn, daughter Toni Horn Cox, brother Stanley Horn and sister-in-law Lisa, sister Vicki Ralls and brother-in-law W.A, three grandchildren Zachary Cox, Chad Cox, and Kendall Cox, two great grandchildren Eloise Cox and Lincoln Cox.
